When’s the last time your BMW vehicle was closely looked at? Even if it seems to be running well, you should have it inspected as part of its regular BMW service. There are two levels of inspections that can help you keep track of your car’s health and let you know if any work is required.

Inspection I

Technicians will examine these areas during this inspection:

Undercarriage

In addition to a visual check of the brakes and exhaust, this also includes changing the oil.

Major Systems

All of the big systems will be looked at, including the engine and transmission. The battery will also be tested.

Engine Compartment

In the engine compartment, all of the fluids will be checked to make sure they are at the correct levels. The vehicle will then be hooked up to a diagnostic device to gauge its computer system.

Tires

The inflation levels of your tires will be tested. Technicians will also look for signs of wear that indicate the need for a new tire.

Electrical System

For this part, all of the lights will be tested, as well as the door locks and airbags. The seatbelts, door hinges, and mirrors will be examined as well.

Inspection II

This inspection includes everything from Inspection I, along with filter and spark plug replacements. The vehicle will also be examined for signs of rust.
