The 2025 BMW 3 Series comes in two trims: the entry-level 2025 BMW 330i and high-end 2025 BMW M340i. Each sports its own engine, augmented this year with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. The 2025 BMW 330i model's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine outputs 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, while the 2025 BMW M 340i variant's 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine achieves 386 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. These latter numbers represent an increase of four horsepower and 29 lb-ft of torque over last year's version. Moreover, the performance of this new BMW model is further enhanced by a new chassis tuning that optimizes the balance between comfort and capability. 

Technology

On the tech side, the 2025 BMW 3 Series offers a range of top-shelf features. The infotainment platform, which includes a curved 12.3-inch driver display and 14.9-inch center touchscreen, gets a boost this year with the arrival of the BMW Operating System 8.5. This new system brings an even higher level of intuitiveness and access and features a new home screen and an improved menu structure inspired by the latest smartphone interfaces. 

Safety-wise, the 2025 BMW 3 Series is packed with advanced driver assistance systems. Along with forward collision mitigation, which comes standard on both trims, available features include active lane-keeping assistance with side collision avoidance. This system steers the car back into its lane if drifting is detected. Also available is Extended Traffic Jam Assistant, which allows for hands-free driving in traffic. 

2025 BMW M340i

The 2025 BMW M340i promises the ultimate luxury sport sedan performance. Along with its powerful engine, this trim adds myriad performance upgrades, including a rear spoiler, an M Sport suspension, and upgraded M Sport brakes with blue calipers.
